  1. We will collect and store your personal and financial information which will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended, extended, re-enacted or consolidated from time to time (including without limitation the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EC) (data protection legislation). For the purposes of data protection legislation, we are the data controller and we will process your Data in accordance with articles 6 (1)(b), 6 (1)(c) and 9 (1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016. We will use your information to ensure proper performance of our agreement with you and to comply with our legal obligations when providing the services as further described below.

    We keep our data protection arrangements under regular review. Our Privacy Policy was last updated in June 2026.

We will use your name, address, email address, contact number, date of birth, national insurance number and financial information (‘personal information’) to provide our services to you and verify your identity and this may require us to pass your personal information to our group companies, electronic verification providers, product providers or other financial firms such as lenders, banks, insurers, fund managers and platform providers. Should you decide not to proceed with our services, we will delete your personal information in accordance with our retention policy, but please note, it may be retained to the extent necessary to defend a claim or legal proceedings.

  3. We may pass your personal information to Zenith Compliance Limited as they provide compliance services to us.  Further details regarding how Zenith Compliance Limited will use your data can be found on its website at www.zenithcompliance.co.uk or by telephone on 07746 752185.

  4. We may be required to pass on your personal information to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) to help with an investigation or complaint or other authorities as required by law.

We may need to collect sensitive personal data including information about your health, ethnic origin, or criminal prosecutions from third parties such as employers and credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies and other similar organisations in order to provide you with the services, for example where you require advice on protection or annuity products.

    We will not share personal data with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.

    Information relating to usage of our website may be collected using cookies. These are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information.

    We do not currently use any information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our site.

    How to complain

    If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you must first raise your data protection complaint with ourselves as the data controller who holds or has processed your data.

    You can make a complaint to us in person or by telephone, email or by post. Our contact details are shown at the commencement of this communication.

    We will:

    • Acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receipt.
    • Investigate and respond to you "without undue delay".
    • Keep you informed of the progress and notify you of the final outcome.

    If you are not happy with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the ICO.
